American Photography !

On February 1st 1900 , the first camera appeared on the market for $1 called , "The Brownie" and stayed in circulation for an outstanding 80 years. The Brownie was a fabulous addition to to life because everyone could afford it and before that, people would only take pictures 1-2 times in their life. Their was about a quarter million brownies sold in the first year.

The Brownie lead to the many ways of communicating by sending postcards, hen cam pictures in magazines, newspapers, and photo montages. The National Geographic made it able for people to see places all around the world! After colored pictures came out, the subscribers list jumped from 3,000-500,000! Seeing this was like real life because it provided a fantasy in which most cases , people believed it was real even if it wasn't.
